Nokia benefitted from an event organized in Singapore to reveal N9, its first model using the operating system MeeGo. Surprised, contrary to the images which had circulated for several months, it does not have a retractable physical keyboard. On the contrary, Nokia played the tactile chart of the 100% with a screen 3,9 inches AMOLED (854x480 pixels) deprived of button in frontage.
“It is conceived to be used with a hand” explained Marko Ahtisaari, the person in charge for the design at Nokia. In light, only one inch is enough to use it, contrary on the other telephones to touch screen, which require sometimes to press on a button to return to the initial menu, or other functions.

Remain a question: will the consumers let themselves convince whereas Nokia clearly posted its ambitions around Windows Phone, qualifying MeeGo of experimental platform? Because nothing says that another smartphone animated by this OS is launched one day…
