Android: “My Way Airports of Paris” or how to lose itself more in Roissy
This application developed by Hub Telecom for Airports of Paris gives access of the tools of geolocalisation inside the buildings.
The tools of geolocalisation are from now on very numerous. But they do not cover the interior of the buildings (indoor). Airports of Paris (ADP) thus had the good idea to propose an application making it possible to find its way inside Roissy Charles of Gaulle.
Developed by the HubTelecom operator (through the agency Pole Star in whom it took a participation) for ADP, this free application Android baptized “My Way Aéroports of Paris”, you géolocalise inside the airport of Roissy to the manner of Google Maps.
Precision of a few meters
It is thus possible to seek routes being to be guided with a precision of a few meters in the 200.000 m ² of the airport. It also makes it possible to locate the points of interests (POI) being around oneself like the shops and the restaurants.
The tool covers the terminals 2nd, 2F, as well as station TGV and the Premium zone of the carparks of 2nd and the 2F. Other zones of the airport should in the long term come to supplement the service.
To note, “My Way Airports of Paris”, Aéroports of Paris offer 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi, usable on the zones of cover of the terminals of the airports of Paris-Charles of Gaulle and Paris-Orly.
To profit from this access, it is initially necessary to recover the identifier and the password available in the heading “I” of the banner page of the application. This offer is limited to the first 100.000 remote loadings and will end on September 15, 2011.
The application can be also very useful for the foreign travellers more especially as it can be consulted on free the Wi-Fi network of Paris-Charles of Gaulle.
